ocrun.com review

   Whilst looking for a good website for lolita dresses ,I stumbled upon ocrun. This website has a lot of dresses ranging from sweet to gothic to even  lolita clothes for kids. They were having a massive sale (50% off!) and I decided to take advantage of it. 

   Their dresses range from $200 to $75 with the sale that is still going on. 

   I decided to buy a sweet short sleeved lolita dress in the lilac colour and an antique pink skirt. They ask for your measurements or you can already choose from the pre-set sizes ranging from XS to XXL and you can also choose to have your dress as a floor length dress (which is more expensive)

   My order arrived very quickly and came inside a bag, vey well folded and packaged. Now, to point out a few problems.

  Enquanto procurava um bom site para vestidos acabei encontrando um site chamado ocrun. Esse site tem uma grande variedade de vestidos, de sweet lolita a gothic e até vestidos para crianças. Quando encontrei ele na época do natal, estava tendo um desconto enorme em todos os vestidos (50% de desconto!) então eu decidi aproveitar.

    Os preços da ocrun vão de $200 a $75 com o desconto que ainda estão oferecendo em alguns vestidos.

   Comprei um vestido sweet com mangas curtas na cor lilas e uma saia cor de rosa . O site pede as suas medidas ou você pode simplesmente escolher entre os tamanhos XS a XXL (PP a GG) o tamanho do vestido pode ser aumentando para uma versão mais longa (e também mais cara).

   As roupas chegaram rapidinho e em ótimo estado. Agora, encontrei uns probleminhas...

 

    On the left it's the dress I ordered. As you can see, on the right there is a clear colour difference. I contacted ocrun about it and they said the Lavender colour had run out and light blue was the closest to it. Then they asked if I could not return the dress as it would be very expensive and they gave me a compensation of $20. Not bad ,eh.... But the chest area of the dress doesn't look nice like in the picture and honestly I don't really like the colour and even though the material is very nice, I'll most likely be selling this dress at some point. Another thing I should point out is that they really take your measurements seriously. The dress was even a bit too tight on me.


   O vestido que eu encomendei é o da esquerda e é obvio que tem uma diferença entre as cores dos dois vestidos. Eu entrei em contato com o site e eles me disseram que a cor lilas não estava em estoque e o azul claro era a cor mais próxima. Eles me pediram para não enviar o vestido de volta já que é muito caro e me ofereceram $20 de compensação. Nada mal.... mas a parte de cima do vestido não é tão bem feita quanto a do vestido da foto esquerda e honestamente eu não gostei muito da cor azul, mesmo o material sendo bom, eu provavelmente vou vender esse vestido. Outra coisa, eles realmente levam as medidas a sério. O meu vestido ficou meio apertado em mim mesmo colocando as medidas certas.

I'm really sorry for the shitty pictures, I was in a hurry. It looks like the picture on the website, but it is not exact, it could be a lot better.The material is very heavy, so I guess I can wear it in cold weather. It's nicely made, no lose threads or anything and I do like it.~  And the laced up part is really nice.

A saia é mas ou menos como a foto do website, não exata, poderia ser melhor. O pano é pesado e de qualidade, acho que serve pra vestir em dias frios. Não tem nada de errado com a saia, eu gostei . A parte amarrada é bem linda, mas não como eles mostram.

 They also sent me two petticoats....
Também me mandaram duas anáguas...

 Is it just me or are these terrible? They're so rigid they can stand by themselves. I'm but a noob, but I do think these petticoats are really shit.
 Eu não sei quanto a vocês , mas eu achei essas anáguas uma porcaria. São duras igual um pedaço de pau. Não passo de uma noob, mas realmente acho que essas anáguas são uma bosta. （￣へ￣）

Compraria no ocrun de novo? Não sei, pelo menos até eu achar outras reviews que falam bem do lugar .É que tudo é muito caro no site (preço de roupas de marca) então acho que preferiria gastar o mesmo dinheiro com itens de marca e de confiança/qualidade.

Would I buy from ocrun again? I don't know, at least until I find other good reviews about the website I think i'd rather spend my money on well known sure-to-be-accurate dresses since the stuff on the website is very expensive I might as well spend my money on popular labels. 

edit: Well, I checked hellolace and found ocrun on the list of possible scammers. Two of the criteria to identify scammers apply quite well to this website:

• Is there a lot of Engrish rambling about innocence, purity and Lolita maidens? Lots of that, yep.
• Are the items names plainly called "Sweet Pink Bow Cotton Lolita Dress"? Majority of reliable Lolita fashion stores give their items a specific series name. Yep.

Suppose people just have to be wary of this website, I didn't have a horrible experience. Could have been just my luck.

Warm up review

  I haven't posted in ages, so I thought I'd start with some reviews of fairly recent buys.

  Faz tempo que não posto nada, então vou começar com umas reviews de coisas que comprei recentemente.

  When I decided to start my lolita/alternative wardrobe, the first items that I bought were shoes because they're cheaper and easier to get hold of. Of course my first shoes were from Bodyline, I won't do a review of them because Bodyline is very popular a has generally very good quality shoes which I recommend to any beginner.

In my mind, I want the main colours of my new wardrobe to be brown, mint and lavender,lilac or any shade of purple, therefore so far I have only bought white shoes because white goes with any colour and any style (´・ω・)

Quando eu decidi mudar meu estilo pra lolita/alternativo , os primeiros artigos que eu comprei foram sapatos, porque são baratos e fáceis de achar. É claro que meu primeiro par foi da marca Bodyline, não farei uma review porque eles são populares e geralmente os sapatos são de ótima qualidade e recomendo-os para qualquer iniciante.

O plano é ter um guarda roupa das seguinte cores : marrom, hortelã/verde claro,lilás ou qualquer outro tom de roxo, e por isso até hoje eu só tenho comprado sapatos brancos pois combinam com qualquer estilo (´・ω・)

Review!

Once, browsing through ebay I found these amazing shoes which I just HAD to have. Usually I get scared of buying shoes on ebay because the quality can be very disappointing. ┐(-｡ｰ;)┌  

However, I was pleasantly surprised at my purchase from the ebay shop Hammerhiroko.

First of all, the seller has very good feedback and also the shipping was free! It made me very happy because these were probably the most expensive shoes I have bought in my life at £52.00! I hated spending so much on shoes, but I loved the look of these ones... So anyway, they arrived very quickly after the initial days of making (which takes 10-15 days) they only took about a week to get here. It came  very well externally packaged as well they were sent in a very sturdy ,cute box ( ﾟ∀ﾟ)

As soon as I opened the box the whole room was filled with the smell of glue,a down side  freshly made shoes I guess....But the shoes themselves were very well built and there was no glue in the leather. Surprisingly they were even more comfortable than the Bodyline shoes, will you believe that! The heels are triple the height of my Bodyline shoes and I still have never felt more comfortable. Oh, also they sent me some thigh high wool socks as an extra little gift. I'm always cold so I was pleased with the freebie. Overall , I couldn't be more pleased with these shoes!

Navegando pelo eBay, encontrei esses sapatos lindos e eu tive que compra-los. Normalmente eu não gosto de comprar sapatos no eBay, porque a qualidade pode ser extremamente ruim  ┐(-｡ｰ;)┌  

Mas esse não foi o caso aqui, na verdade os sapatos que encomendei da loja Hammerhiroko foram uma surpresa muito agradável. 

Em primeiro lugar a loja recebeu ótimas críticas e a entrega foi grátis! Considerando que esses foram os sapatos mais caros que eu já comprei (£52.00!) a entrega grátis me deixou bem feliz. Enfim, a entrega foi muito rápida, os sapatos chegaram mais ou menos uma semana depois dos primeiros 10-15 dias que leva pra fazer. Vieram bem empacotados e também dentro de uma caixa firme e linda ( ﾟ∀ﾟ)

Assim que abri a caixa, o quarto foi empestado com o cheiro de cola, acho que esse é lado ruim de sapatos feitos na hora, mas por outro lado não tinha sinal algum de cola no couro, sem falar que foram muito bem feitos. Mas a melhor parte foi o quão confortável esses sapatos são, o salto é quase três vezes maior que o do meu sapato da Bodyline e mesmo assim são extremamente confortáveis. Aliás, me mandaram um par de meias de lã como um presentinho extra. Estou sempre com frio então quanto mais meias melhor. Pra concluir, não poderia estar mais satisfeita com esses sapatos. ^^
